A young man attending a San Diego middle school reported being bullied by classmates. Two weeks later he passed as a result of an attack at school. You can read the full article HERE.
We must stand against bullying and take it seriously when our kids are being mistreated by other children.
As stated on, “StopBullying.gov“, Bullying is described as, “unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems. In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:
- An Imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power—such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity—to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.
- Repetition: Bullying behaviors happen more than once or have the potential to happen more than once.”
We support our parents and children and declare safety and protection over them as they travel to and from school.
Please pray with us:
Father God, we stand in prayer for every child that has ever been bullied and we stand against all forms of abuse and bullying in Jesus Name!
We cover our children against bullying and we ask for wisdom over every parent of a child that is being bullied.
We pray for the family mentioned in the article and every other parent that has lost a child through violence of any kind.
Father God, please give us wisdom on how to cover the ones being bullied and educate the one that’s doing the bullying.
We ask and declare all this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen!
